Administration in Florida 

There are three times of administration in Florida:
​

  • Summary – the person has been dead for over 2 years or the total value of the estate is less than $75,000​

  • Ancillary – where there is real property in Florida and is ancillary or secondary to a probate filed in another estate​

  • Formal – everything else.​
